Queen's Baton Relay

In Room 6 we have been making posters about the Queen's Baton Relay. This poster was created by Kaleea, Adam, Brey & Mariah. The questions that these people had to find the answer to were "What is the Queen's Baton Relay?" and "Why is there a relay?". The answers to these questions were, The Queen's Baton Relay is the main curtain raiser for the Commonwealth Games. The answer for the second question is, The baton travels to the nations of the Commonwealth Games to show we are all united.

This poster was created by, Isabelle, Anastasia, Jeshel & Kaitlin. The questions for this poster are, "Where does The Queen's Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games traditionally begin?" and "Where will the relay end?". The answers to these questions are, "Buckingham Palace" and Celtic Park Glasgow city Scotland". On the poster you will see some flags. These flags represent the some of the countries included in the Commonwealth Games.

This poster was created by, Rio, Josh, Katelyn & Matthew Cooper. The questions for this poster are, "How many people carry the baton" and "How many days does it take to complete the relay?". The answers are, "4000 people" and "288 days". On this poster you will see the old Canadian flag. This is because it has the 'Union Jack Symbol' on it so we decided to put it on our poster. There is also some of the other flags with the Union Jack on them.
